Regulation #4 Testing

The California State fire marshal’s office mandates frequency through Title 19 of the California Administrative Code. Regulation #4 applies to all buildings within the city of Los Angeles. Additional Requirements

High and low pressures should be inspected each week. Additionally, a trip test should be performed annually. The city code requires tests every year for high rises and every five years for low rises. However, the LAFD policy requires yearly testing on all buildings.
